Taylor Swift, Harrods and One Night Only concert! – Blogmas day 5, 6 & 7

Well hello everyone and happy Sunday!

As mentioned in the previous post, this past weekend was a really busy one and I'll obviously write everything down.
I shall start by saying that unfortunately I didn't end up doing that top secret thing I told you about, not that I didn't want to, it was just too far away and it was too early in the morning – and everyone knows how much I love sleeping haha!

But let's start with Friday. I had the day off so me and my friend Rachele went to central London and walked around. We ended up going to Victoria's Secret and fangirled over the dress that Taylor Swift wore during the VS fashion show this year – yes, it was in the shop and yes, we obviously took a photo of it!
After a lovely lunch at Nando's we walked all the way to Harrods and pretended we were so rich we just couldn't decide what to buy for our future house – but let's be honest, I would much rather spend all my money in concert tickets, tea and books than in a super expensive coffee table.

On Saturday we started our day by going to the British Museum which was lovely as usual and not too busy for a Saturday afternoon.
Shortly after that we took a bus all the way to Hackney and enjoyed a live performance by One Night Only. I have to say, it was my first time seeing them live and they killed it. The energy they have on stage is contagious and everyone was screaming lyrics and enjoying themselves. I am one of those people who have to see a band/singer performing life before actually saying I like them and now I can truly say I genuinely like One Night Only.

As of today my knees hurt and I am beyond tired therefore my bed will be my best friend.
Until tomorrow, have a lovely rest of the weekend.

Top secret plans + gingerbread cookies! – Blogmas day 4

unfortunately these are NOT my cookies – they look yummy though!

We can officially say that the wrapping-presents-and-baking-Christmas-cookies period has begun!
In fact, I've literally spent the whole morning wrapping toys for the kids and baking gingerbread cookies – loads of them!!, and don't worry because in the meantime I had time to stress out about it and drink 10+ cups of tea. Can't live without stress now, can I? Haha.

On the bright side tomorrow is Friday and this weekend is looking pretty lush and full of nice things to do. And I'll obviously blog about them –  if I'm allowed to!
No, I'm not doing anything top secret but I'm participating in something really fun and quite important and I'll let you know if I can write about it, so if you're interested in finding out what it is, just keep your eyes peeled!

A Christmast Crisis! – Blogmas day 3

Let's see, I am trying to think about something interesting to write down for you but truth is my day was really boring. Might have done some online shopping but, believe me, nothing I got was for me.
Is it just me or Christmas is both amazing and stressful at the same time? Oh and do we have to mention the amount of money we spend every year for gifts?! Yeah, I don't think so.

Every time I see people on YouTube uploading "The ultimate gifts guide", or something around those lines, they make me think: how come those people know what to buy and I don't?
I guess it's because I really do care about presents and I like making people happy. I like to buy something both unique and useful at the same time, but I know some people just get the first thing they see and don't even bother spending a bit of time trying to find the perfect gift.

I don't know, I guess I'm just really stressed out about everything at the moment, but then again: story of my life!
But seriously, December has just started and I'm already panicking, what's wrong with me?!
Presents will be the death of me – at least for a couple of weeks more hah!

Also I am truly sorry about those lame posts lately, hopefully December will get more interesting and I'll be able to share more, however in the meantime I hope you're enjoying Blogmas :)

Comfort Food & Feeling Emotional – Blogmas day 2

Had a weird dream last night and I woke up feeling a bit emotional, nothing to worry about, really, just feeling a bit upset.
It happens sometimes and there's only two things we can do about it: we can either embrace it and know that tomorrow is going to be a better day or we can complain about it and get even more upset. So really, why not embrace it? Everyone has a bad day every once in a while and I know it'll get better.

As of today, though, I know I'm not happy about my weight, my shape and my skin and I am aware of the fact that all my imperfections are more visible to me during those days. So, what did I do? I had LOTS of comfort food – which, let me tell you, doesn't help my shape and body weight, and had a long shower singing along to Taylor Swift's new album.

On the bright side, though, today is December 2nd which means loads of YouTubers will start uploading their Vlogmas and I'm so excited about it! I love me a good vlog more that a main channel video, to be honest with you.
And also, I only have 15 days left before heading back home for Christmas – which is also very very exciting if you ask me.

I don't know, sorry if this blogpost was a bit upsetting and not too fun to read, but I like getting personal and write down what I am feeling, I can always go back and read it when I have another bad day or when I want to remember something and it feels really good.

So my advice for today is: do not feel bad if you have a bad day, tomorrow will be a better one. And if you're really upset just try and write it down somewhere, it doesn't have to be on the internet, but I can assure you it'll make you feel so much better.
Also – and this goes for me as well, if you feel like eating some comfort food, just do it. A piece of chocolate won't hurt you – unless you eat chocolate all day every day, then you know, that could be bad for you, but then again, you get what I mean, haha!
