Healthy chocolate chips cookies (Idiot proof!)

Happy Friday, everyone!

It's been a long and stressful week so this weekend was much needed. And what better way to start the weekend than baking some delicious cookies?
Now, I must say, I absolutely love baking – especially because I have quite a few food intolerances and I can never buy treats for myself. That's why I tend to bake cakes and sweets, plus I usually change up the recipe and try different things each time. It's good to experiment, even better when the ingredients are healthy and natural.

So today I wanted to share a new recipe I just tried and, OH MY GOD, I am absolutely in love with these sweets already.
They were supposed to be shaped as cookies, so my apologies if they look like balls instead – they taste delicious anyways. And the most important thing is that they are idiot proof! Amazing, right?
Want to know what else is amazing? The fact that you'll only need three ingredients for this sweets. Yes, three. And you wanna know how long it takes to bake them? 12 to 15 minutes.
Now, to me that's just brilliant.

So there you have it, the only ingredients you'll need are uncooked Oats, bananas and dark chocolate.
And the good thing about these sweets is that you can get creative and mix the ingredients up a little. If you're not a fan of dark chocolate, you ca always try with some milk chocolate. Or why not try white chocolate and strawberries? Or you could go chocolate-free and use berries instead. Whatever you decide to use, they're still going to taste delicious!

Ingredients:

85g of uncooked Oats
2 ripe bananas
40g chocolate chips

Now, all you need to do is preheat the oven to 180°C (or 350°F). Mash the bananas and add the oats, mix it all together and then add the chocolate. Make sure all three ingredients are well mixed before taking a spoon and scooping the cookies onto a cookie sheet. Put them in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes and you're done.

So there you have it, the perfect recipe for these super healthy and tasty sweets – or balls!
I literally cannot stop eating them and I will probably bake some more over the weekend. Maybe I could try with some berries next time?

I know this was a slightly different post, but I really wanted to share this recipe and I hope you enjoyed. And please, comment or send me photos on twitter if you use it – I'd love to see the results!
